Concentration

I want to do a concentration on contradictions.  I kind of explored this with my two of my projects this year (smiling while being slapped, crying while everyone else is happy).  Monet said I should do a little kid in a business suit holding a briefcase.  I think that would be cool, but I want to make sure all of my projects flow together (thought about just doing emotional contradictions, but need ideas).  Ideas???

  2. I don't think I would to the kid in the suit because that seems like a social commentary on a lot of things and wouldn't really work for your concentration idea in my opinion. I also think you could use your last two pieces in your concentration depending on the medium you want to use. You may just want to try out painting. I think you could rock that. I might consider, along the lines of your photograph, how people cry when they are happy and how a laugh can sound like a cru and vice versa. I think you're on to something, but definitely need to plan it out so you know you have enough ideas. Maybe you could work with false appearances, like how flight attendants always have to look happy even when they're angry or sad. Maybe you could have a person wearing a shirt that say "vegetarian" and the person could be eating ribs. Or you could have a person wearing a shirt with a peace sign on it and they could be fighting. I'm not quite sure if this is looking for and I'm sorry for writing such a long comment, but I can't sleep. Feel free to ask me for more ideas later. This will be fun.
P.S. Is it supposed to be deep or funny?
